Q. I've had people tell me that I should get a server. Do I really need one?

A.
The need for a server is determined by the individual business' need. Mobile IT Solutions can review your computing needs and current system to suggest more efficient ways of using your computers and software.

Q. Can Mobile IT Solutions add "copied" software to my system for me?

A.
Yes we will add software to your system, but only properly licensed software. It is against federal laws to add unlicensed software to a system. It is our customer's responsibility to make sure that they are not violating their software license agreements. If there is any question about the software you would like installed, we will assist you in contacting the software manufacturer to answer your licensing questions.

Q. I am thinking of adding a server. I've heard people mention Windows Server and Linux. Which is better?

A.
Both of the above mentioned software have their merits; but it is best to assess your computing needs, server specifications, and licensing costs of each option before making a decision. For a minimal charge, Mobile IT Solutions, LLC can provide a Comparison Report that will address your infrastructure improvement costs.
